MCSS Skill Development Program

Program Overview

The MCSS Skills Development Program is designed to help individuals and families achieve greater financial stability through education, workforce training, certifications, licensing, apprenticeships, and other employment-related opportunities.

Unlike emergency assistance programs that address immediate needs, the Skills Development Program focuses on long-term self-sufficiency by supporting applicants who are seeking to improve their employment prospects and earning potential.

MCSS may provide financial assistance for approved training programs, certification exams, licensing fees, vocational education, and other career development opportunities that are likely to lead to employment or increased income.

MCSS invites Business Owners and Professionals to participate in our career development program, by providing training opportunities and shadow sessions for our community members to further develop our communities’ skills in vast professional spaces.

This program will connect aspiring professionals to community members with established careers to get the skills, connections, and experience they need to further their careers.
