MCSS is dedicated to upholding the privacy of its donors and recipients. We handle all collected information, such as contact details, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, donation amounts, aid applications, and your inquiries with the utmost care and confidentiality.
Your information is used by MCSS solely for maintaining donation records, issuing acknowledgements and year-end tax statements, distributing newsletters, notices, and direct mail, as well as for internal marketing purposes. MCSS also maintains records of its recipients. By default, we add you to our mailing list unless you specify otherwise.
To protect your information, MCSS requires all volunteers to sign confidentiality agreements. We do not publish individuals' names in any of our publications. Occasionally, we may feature your comments or letters anonymously in our newsletter or use them to respond to your inquiries.
Credit card details are not stored after processing. Donations exceeding 2% of our total budget are reported on IRS Form 990, Schedule B.
MCSS does not sell, rent, trade, or transfer your personal information to external parties. Donor information is strictly used for MCSS's internal purposes to advance our mission. While we implement security measures, MCSS cannot guarantee immunity from all breaches, and is not liable for any related damages or liabilities.
